The Indy Racing League Ministry is a 501c(3), not-for-profit,
non-denominational Christian organization that was developed to minister to the racing
community. It organizes chapel services on race weekends when racers cannot
attend their regular places of worship. Its chaplains provide support in times
of crisis as well as continually encourage everyone to strive to have a
closer relationship with God. The IRL Ministry's overall objectives are to see
lives changed for the better, spiritual relationships strengthened, and to
bring honor and glory in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
David Storvick of IRL Ministries serves as the USF2000 series' chaplain.
David was an associate chaplain with the IZOD IndyCar Series and Firestone
Indy Lights in 2008 and 2009. He, his wife Deatra and their two sons live in
Indianapolis. His home church there provides the support to enable him to
minister to those who follow our series. He is anxious to help in any way
possible, and can be reached via cell phone at (317) 435-5427 or by e-mail at david.storvick@gmail.com.
